It would be amazing if one DJ could come to entertain us. We like all types of music, just to make some fun. How much would it be? Please let me know as soon as possible so I can save some money. There are three guests who are vegetarian so they'll need three vegetarian menus. There is also one person who is allergic to onion. Please take care of where you put this kind of vegetable so he should be able to eat everything he likes to.
I think the best way to learn and improve my English is having a contact with it everyday. I use to watch series online which are from United Statges and they're not translated at our language so I just watch them in the original version (English). I also improve my English listening to music. I'm a person who loves music so I always listen it when I go to places by bike, walking or whatever. I don't like Spanish or Catalan songs so I always listen to English pop music, I put lyrics and I sing along. I also have been studying for PET exam this year so I've been doing one hour everyday of English at school. This means doing lots of English a week but I enjoy doing it so it's not a problem. I want to do a career related in Germanic Languages like English and German so I'm going to have English everyday of my entire life!
It is generally accepted that w won't be able to use oil and gas to power our homes forever. Not everybody has enough money to pay the electricity every month, and in the future it will be more expensive. Also, oil and gas cause a lot of pollution and in the near future, it can be bad for all of us.
It is well known that solar energy is a good idea to solve this kind of problemes. Not only is it sustainable, but it's also cheap when you've purchased the solar panels. Furthermore, as there are different models and prices, it is ood for oth the people with more resources and people with less.
However, there are some disadvantages. It is said that solar panels are big and ugly. Neither their appearance nor the price is acceptable. The prices are too expensive and not everybody can accept to buy this kind of solar panels.
In conclusion, there are many disvantages and advantages of this energy. either we pay a lot and don't save our money or we pay a lot once and then we can be okay in the near future. In my opinion, it is a good idea to put it in our schools, we can save more and pay less.
I
am writing in response to the article you wrote in Thursday's edition
of your newspaper. As soon as I read it, I got shook of the
information it told. I was disappointed to read comments saying that
art is not expressive, not important and artists don't have to create
more. As a student of secondary, who is doing art as a subject, I
would like to point out the benefits of creating art and the original
idea of that Chinese artist painting with a dangerous thing.
Firstly,
there is a big advantage of creating art: artists around the world
want to communicate, express or claim something who disagree with.
Art is the perfect way to do it. Lots of people of all ages when see
a painting which is simple, most of them say they can do it even
better. That's not the point. I think that when you are an artist and
you create a painting or anything else, is a way to express people
the message you want to know them. So, painting with explosives is an
original idea, is an innovation!
Next,
studies have shown that lots of artists claim his ideas, his points
of view, his freedom of speech, etc. by doing interesting and
original art. Banksy or Pavel 183 are some of them, people who
express his ideas by doing street art; or Boltanski by expressing the
consequences of the war he lived.
Lastly,
I am due to set off on a trip to Prado Museum, Madrid to appreciate
the paintings there. I also want to state that painting with
explosives is an original way to do a work of art which I think
communicates that is a dangerous thing and that we are talking about
a really big danger. I therefore suggest you keep printing such type
of comments as we can be informed of these great people.

I've
just joined Camprodon Ski Club, a group of people in different ages
who meet every Sunday at VallTer 2000 (a ski resort situated at the
Pyrenees) to ski and improve this wonderful sport. The people there
are really friendly and nice, so we pass a great time together. I
spent the first day going down the easy slopes (which they're in
colours: green and blue). Every child went with an adult and they
taught how to improve one another. There was a great weather so we
could take great photos together!
Day
2: Sunday 13th
December
This
time, I went with a group of teenagers of about 16 years old who also
joined this Ski Club. We started going down the easy slopes but then
we changed, and we tried to go down another level which are red and
black slopes. We all knew how to ski so we decided to go to the
terrain park to perform tricks and jumps. The experience really
helped us to open up and enjoy ourselves a lot. Well, if I continue
practising some tricks, I'll be a professional jumper soon! Just
kidding...
Day
3: Sunday 20th December
This
day wasn't as good as we expected. We had a very bad weather with
some fog and snow wind at the top of the mountains, so we were very
cold. But, this didn't impede the thing we wanted to do:
snowboarding. Yes, exactly what you see! We're a group who want to
try new experiences related to ski so we decided to do this. It's a
great sport that you've to try one day. You'll have lots of fun and
laughs! After this three days, I believe that if you are confident,
you'll do lots of things that you wouldn't do if you weren't.
I am writing to complain about the staff of your restaurant in Birth
Street, London. I went there last weekend and we left very deceived
from there.
I booked a table for at 9 o'clock to celebrate one year of my
relationship with my boyfriend. First of all, when we arrived, our
book wasn't done. Because of that, we had to wait for about 15
minutes for a free table. It was such a bad proposal. Secondly, when
we already had our table, one waiter came for us in a very bad
attitude. Every thing we asked for was too much for him, he seemed
really tired of writing just a few words. I think that one person who
stays the all time with people, has to be nice and cheerful to them,
therefore the restaurant will receive positive points.
Furthermore, we were shocked to see that the food which the waiter
brought to us was totally burned. Its taste was extremely bad, it was
completely unacceptable, so we decided to pay and leave that place.
We couldn't wait for much more.
Until now, I had always think this restaurant had good expectations
but focusing at what has happened to us, my thoughts has changed all
at once. Under the circumstances, I would be grateful if you could
change some of the aspects I've been talking about. Therefore, more
people are gonna come and leave satisfied from here.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Italy is known by its famous pizza and pasta, but monuments are also important in this country. Santa Maria di Fiore or the Pisa Tower are some of them. It is located in the heart of the Mediterranian Sea and its capital is Rome, famous for the Vaticane. It has lots of ancient cities but, in my opinion, the most beautiful are Florence, Venice and Verona. We've gone there and it has been a wonderful experience. That's the reason why I'm going to explain and share this trip with all of you.
Firstly, we met at 5.15h at the school and we took the bus to El Prat airport to fly to Milan-Malpensa airport. A bus was waiting there to take us to the first place we visited: Sirmione Sur Garda. There, we had a tasty pizza for lunch and then we visited the Lago di Garda which was very surprising. Later, we left Sirmione and we went to Verona, the city where the story of Romeo and Juliet took place. We were sleeping there so we left our luggage in Albergo Arena and we walked around the city. The Arena was one of the places we visited in Verona. It was like a Coliseum but not in Rome. We took lots of photos there and then, we had dinner.
We spent the second day in Venice, a wonderful city. There, we visited La Piazza di San Marco and its church; the Bridge Rialto and the place where Murano glasses are made. We had free-time in the afternoon so we could go in gondola together. We could go among “the Venice canal” with a great gondolier who explained us all the places we were passing through. Later, we came up the tower of the Piazza di San Marco and we could see all the city of Venice from there. Finally, we took the Vaporetto which carried us to the train station. Then, we took the train to come back to Verona.
As soon as we finished to breakfast, we took a train to go to Florence. We spent there two days, the last one we left to Pisa. On Wednesday we visited the city, we had dinner and we went to Ponte Vecchio, a beautiful bridge with wonderful sights. We were all tired and we had to rest, so we went to sleep early. On Thursday morning we visited The Uffizi Gallery where there were amazing paintings like The birth of Venus or The Allegory of Spring. Then, we walked to The Cathedral of Santa Maria di Fiore where we went to the top of it (cupola of Brunelleschi) and we could see the city of Florence from there (including the Bell Tower of Giotto). After that, the people who wanted to, could go up to the Bell Tower (lot of stairs!) and we saw the cupola from there. In the afternoon, we visited The Academy where David of Michelangelo was exposed. That sculpture was very surprising because nobody of us thought it would be as big as it is! Then, we had free-time in the afternoon so we went shopping (souvenirs, pasta, etc.)
We left Florence in the early morning to go to Lucca, an amazing ancient city near Pisa. There, we saw the tower and we relaxed in the big square of the city. Finally, we took the bus again to go to Pisa where we had lunch. We were all very hungry! In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to visit the Cathedral and the famous tower. We had free-time so we took a lot of photos with the tower. After that, a city train took us to the Galilei International Airport and, although our flight delayed for two hours, this has been an unforgettable trip.
This trip will always be in our memories. We had a wonderful time together and we didn't want to come back home! No one could believe this trip was already ended!
